St Keyne Village Hall and Social Club

Welcome to St Keyne Village Hall and Social Club

The Village Hall is warm and comfortable with a popular Social Club which is open at weekends and bank holidays. It consists of a large hall, a well equipped kitchen, a large meeting room and a small office, all of which are available for hire. The Social Club is available for use by members. It can be made available for a private non-members party provided the hirer obtains a TEN licence.

The hall is available for private hire for birthday parties and other celebrations. The Hall has a PRS licence and professional disco setup with lasers and other lighting effects, smoke machine and bubble machine which can also be hired for events in the hall.

What's on at the Hall

The hall hosts a weekly coffee morning, bi-monthly 'big breakfasts', regular Burgers & Banger's nights which also includes music of the decades, fancy dress (Prize for the best dressed) and music!!, and annual celebrations such as Valentine's Day, Halloween, Christmas and New Year. A NEW event for 2024 was a monthly bingo which has been very popular. This is scheduled the last Thursday of the month. Again for another year we have the Curry&Quiz night.  It also hosts weekly meetings of the Brench Club (a self help woodcarving club which meets every Tuesday afternoon), a regular chiropody clinic, meetings of the Parish Council, the gardening club and annual plant sale.

The Pool Team

AGAIN another popular season ahead, this year St Keyne Village Hall will have 2 pool teams. Yes 2 pool teams!!

The Pool season is underway with St Keyne A & St Keyne B. Underneath are the dates for the 2024 season.

Village Hall Improvements

When the pandemic put most of our lives on hold and everywhere was closed including our hall, life seemed very strange but as restrictions were eased, the committee took this opportunity to start work on refurbishing the hall and club. This included a transformation of the bar area making it far more comfortable and relaxing. Also, as not everyone wants to drink from the bar, a 'Bean to Cup' coffee machine was installed in the hall, which has proved a great success.
